The
Play Park is situated at the rear of St Michael's Church, on School
Lane. It can be accessed from the High Street, through the right
of way under the arch of the Church, or down Silver Street
turning right after the Co-op Supermarket and following the road round
to the right. The Park is open from 8am to 6pm
. The gates are locked during the hours of darkness to alleviate
vandalism. Entry is free. The swings, slides and climbing
frames are for children under 11 years of age. Ball
games are not permitted to protect the safety of young children.
There is a park bench for adults to sit on for watching their
children. Litter bins are also provided.
